Who is here…

Air’s Team is made up of supporters from around the World, both those who know her personally and those who have come to know and love them through the sharing of their story. Air and her family’s current success would not be possible without the ever growing network of supporters ‘Team Air’. Nicole (me/writer of this Blog) is an American rehabilitation professional with a background in serving people with developmental disabilities. I am also the forever mom to a child with complex needs, my daughter Tyra died in 2009. I have lived and volunteered full-time in Thailand for the last 7 years as an Assistive Technology / Augmentative and Alternative Communication consultant. I was first introduced to Air and her Mom in 2018 when they were brought by a friend to the Institute for Child Development. My relationship has evolved from professional – to friend – to family. Yupin has become a dear younger sister and my heart is filled in my role as Aunt Nicole to Air and Paerwa. I am also responsible for coordinating appointments, supplies, housing, and finances (donations / sponsor correspondence). Anything shared on this Blog is done so with Yupin’s informed approval.
